چکیده
Efficient management of water distribution networks (WDNs) is currently a focal point, especially in countries where scarcity conditions are more and amplified by frequent drought periods. In these cases, fact, pressure becomes the fundamental variable managing WDNs. Similarly, WDNs often obsolete affected several points losses. Leakages mainly pressure; utilities usually apply technique to reduce physical It clear how plays role safety. Even though technologies quite mature, systems expensive, if capillarity monitoring system required; thus, managers measurement flow rate at very few points. Today, implementation Internet things (IoT) can be considered key strategy for systems. Once sensors installed, it relatively easy build communication able collect send data from network. proposed study, smart was developed using low-cost hardware open-source software. The prototype composed an Arduino microcontroller, printed circuit board, eight transducers. efficiency tool compared with SCADA system. To investigate on system, experimental campaign carried out Environmental Hydraulic Laboratory University Enna (Italy), hydrostatic as well hydrodynamic tests were performed. results showed ability monitor have control WDN simple, scalable, economic easily implemented real utilities, thus improving knowledge increasing level management.

The purpose of this paper is to acquire the remote electrical parameters like Voltage, Current and Apparent Power and send these real time values over GSM network using GSM Modem. This facilitates the remote monitoring of these parameters without any geographical constraints, since a GSM module is used. Real time power monitoring system relate generally to the field of electric energy consumpti...

متن کاملA HYBRID CHARGED SYSTEM SEARCH - FIREFLY ALGORITHM FOR OPTIMIZATION OF WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS
Water distribution networks are one of the important and costly infrastructures of cities and many meta-heuristic algorithms in standard or hybrid forms were used for optimizing water distribution networks. These algorithms require a large amount of computational cost. Therefore, the converging speed of algorithms toward the optimization goal is as important as the goal itself. In this paper, a...
متن کاملWireless Sensor Network Based Atmega16 Microcontroller as Temperature and Current Monitoring System on Distribution Network Transformator
Distribution transformers is one of the main component in electrical distribution system to customer. This transformers is used to change the input of the transformers from 20 KV to 220 Volt. Distribution transformers often has disruption, and if it is not fixed soon, it will damage transformers and fire it. One of the parameter that indicate disruption in transformers is enhancement of current...
